December 22, 2021 I made it to the MTC y'all! There was a hige snow storm the night before which made things more fun and interesting but i wouldnt change it for the world!  Saying goodbye to my family was hard but I knew that they supported me and I know what I'm doing is right.  I have only been here a couple of days but man have I learned so much! When I got here, I found out my collega (companion) was going to be pretty late because her flight got delayed from the snow so that was crazy but she made it and everyone is so happy to be here in person! Our classes are always a party but we have worked hard as a district to balance having fun and staying focused which is still something to work on but I'm proud of how we've come together and solved problem.  We found out the other night that our district leader is Elder Vanderlinden and he has been a great leader as he has helped us come together and work things out. We also found out that Sister. Cullumber and I hav...

And just like that... I'm off!

December 14, 2021   Man these two weeks have flown by but I am so happy to be where I am! I am grateful for my family and friends who have encouraged me during this time in the at home MTC! I have had so many golden experiences and I have felt the spirit so strong here! I am a bit sad to be leaving home but more overjoyed than anything! I know that I am in God's hands and he will keep me safe and protected! I have learned this week that God's love is sufficient for us. Which means that we can do anything and everything if we allow God to be in our lives and help us bear our burdens and the burdens of those we love. It also means that God loves each of us perfectly and individually so we are never alone and we are always loved.  I know sometimes when life seems hard we wonder who is even there for us? Who will notice me today or care about me for a minute? Christ suffered for each and every one of us not only for us to be forgiven but also for each of us to find true happiness....

I made it to Week 2 y’all!

December 8, 2021   Hey guys! How are y'all doing? I hope you are doing well and having a fantastic week! I love hearing from you all so don't be afraid to email me and catch up. It makes my day so much actually. I am never too busy to hear from my favorite peeps so don't worry :) To catch you all up on my experiences I... - taught 3 lessons - started figuring out christmas and new years plans with my comp and district - realized how emotional adjusting to new things was - learned so much! - went to the most entertaining workshop ever! - got to hear a devotional by Elder Uchdorf and his wife (so good!) And that's pretty much it. It has been a lot of the same thing this week with the MTC, only we plan out our time with our comps instead of being assigned a specific schedule. I have learned that it is so important that I listen to spiritual promptings.  The scripture I want to share this week is Alma 34:8-10 which testifies and explains the Atonement of Jesus Christ so wel...

First Week in the MTC

December 1, 2021   Halo,  I have been a missionary for less than 72 hours but I have learned and grown so much! It has been a whirlwind of figuring out what I'm supposed to be doing and where I'm supposed to be but it's crazy how much I am helped out by the spirit, by my district, and everyone really. We have really focused on "our purpose" as missionaries and that has really helped me because oftentimes when I am doing things in my life I wonder "What am I doing? and Why am I doing this?" I have been able to answer both of those questions strongly! I am becoming a missionary and representative of the Church of Jesus Christ and I am doing it because it is the greatest cause on the earth today and I never wanna miss out on that!  On my first day we had a workshop with one of the guys who is over all the MTC's worldwide and let me tell you, he mic dropped! He shared a story of president Hinkley when on his mission had a time where he got sick and very ...
